Arc Durukan is a mischief boi, designer, multidisciplinary artist, and activist born in Türkiye and currently based in Berlin, Germany. In their solo practice, they work across speculative world-building and research-led methods to craft alternative frameworks and realities that challenge prevailing societal norms; mapping personal and collective stories of belonging, transformation, and survival across cultural landscapes. Their work has been shown at spaces including Transmediale, Ark Kultur, Bethanien Kunstraum, Funkhaus, Monopol Berlin, and X Media Art Museum Istanbul. Within their artistic practice, Arc develops tools, protocols, and systems for harm reduction, safer work, and building operational structures for survival under conditions of precarity shaped by intersectional structures of oppression. Their work positions care as infrastructure, foregrounding mutual aid as a grounded practice that makes space for survival, intimacy, and collective autonomy.
